About a love not yet reciprocated

Put Me Out Of My Misery

To know you is to love you.
Isn't that what they always say?
But it's definately  true in your case.
From the very first moment I found it hard to speak.
The depth of your gaze overwhelmed me.
The pounding of my heart was so loud I was sure you could hear.
But the smile you gave put a calming to all my fears.
Although I haven't quite voiced my feelings
I'm sure you know how you affect me;
  the sweaty palms,
    the raspy breath.
      the quick pulse,
          the longful stares.
I dont know what to do to get you to notice me.
Beg?
  Plead?
    Throw myself at your feet?
Crawl to you on my hands and knees?
I'll do just about anything..
just please oh please,
spare me this misery.
Take me in your arms-
  and kiss me!
