the day my husband (Doug) asked me,

ten years ago to marry him.



A clear night,stars shining,moon smiling,

as we sat in our hot tub,

candles lit,a shooting star.

That is good luck we both said together.



He brought out a box opened it,

ring gleaming,heart and mind filled

with emotion,

"Will you Marry me"? "Yes"!

No matter where we are we will

Our friendship has grown into Love

and now our Love into marriage.

He gets me a rose bush every year,
