The needy, the corporate and the status buyer! who is the brand buyer of them?
Buyers can be classified into three categories, the needy buyer, the corporate buyer and the status buyer. The needy buyer group is the people mostly from working class earning only their required living. These people don’t care about the brands, and mostly think carefully while spending money like defining priorities what to buy and what to avoid buying, planning budget for what to buy, searching the market to find the best price and quality for what to buy. Such people sometime may kill their wishes to remain in budget. The best about such people is they get the best pleasure out of buying anything in their limited budget. This is the pleasure which comes from spending the large effort for buying something very small.
The corporate buyers are the one focusing on reputation more. The cost, quality and designs are their main targets. They have professionals working for such buying who are mean to achieve their buying goals. Popular brands may attract these buyers only when their customer complements are targeted.
The status buyers so interested in brand that you may call them brands buyers at times. Such people have big accounts and unlimited money. The business class, the celebrities, the mafia people, the royals are the people in this group. In my point of view, they sometimes don’t even know the payback and features of what they are buying but only focus on what’s the most expensive. They buy the most expensive just to differentiate themselves from others. The good thing about the most expensive is not always its special features or qualities, but sometimes it’s the reason that it’s not in the hands of everyone. This makes it a status symbol for them. No matter, how worth the item in reality is, the highest price is the attraction for them. These are the people, who make the brands alive. The day these people started to focus on the payback before paying for brands, most of brands may drop to a good reachable buying price. This however is difficult to happen as someone has to show that “money talks”.
