Cricket a game which is not less than a matter of war for some of the Nations. The game is a complicated combination of mental and physical skills. With limited physical players involved on every ball played, the responsibility of the team is shouldered on individual’s players mostly. The game can therefore be called a combination of team work and individual work. Team work, because individual performance can only make the team partly win and individual work, because without major individual performance it’s not possible for the teams to win. In addition it’s a game of patience and sustaining pressure.

With crazy crowds around the stadium expecting for aggressive play sometime, even excellent player may ruin up situation for the team if doesn’t sustain pressure and play irresponsibly. The match winning players usually in this game could be anyone in the team who show responsible play and play in the tense and pressure time for the team without harming the situation.

The Captain of the team is not a like usual captain of other games and instead needs an excellent vision, strategic planning, quick decision making, players management and pressure handling skills apart from his playing skills. He needs an excellent vision to understand, what could be next attacking tactic from the opponent team. He needs to make strategy and keep changing strategy of the team game from time to time by taking quick decisions on requirements to handle difficult situation and pressure. He needs to make the best use of his players and must know where to utilize the skills of which player. With all such qualities for captain and with good players even sometime the game is lost.
