Everybody's a Critic

Everybody's a critic
But yet
Can't say
How they would
Feel
If they were criticized in their way.

Everybody's a critic
But yet
Can't construe
That if give their own
Evaluations,
Citations
They would feel bad, too.

But, hey! Everybody's a critic
Rating me
Grading me like mini
Roger Eberts
Oh, I wish I could see
How they would look if they were me.










Note: this poem does not reflect the fact that I do not want constructive criticism on my writing. In fact I want to do the exact opposite. This is more about how other people can talk about people and then not have the decency enough to think about how they would feel if put in that person's position. Anyway, didn't want to give away the poem or anything, just wanted to clear it up :)
