Why do I yearn for you?



They tell me

I need someone

In my life.

Others say

I fall in love

to fast.

Some believe

I'm so afraid

To fall in love once

again.



Sitting alone

Reminiscing of

my past and

wondering about

my future

It's been three

months since we

spoke.

Why is it

when it comes

to you, I don't

feel so scared

I am motivated

with what I

do and I don't feel

alone?



I pass time

With files

of paper work

that is as

long as the

Great Wall.

I spend hours

conversing with someone

who has resemblance

of every aspect

of you. From your

strong manly figure to your

bright white smile.



By the end of the day,

I catch myself with

thoughts of you, even

when your not on my

mind. A salty tear drop

rolls down my face

As my heart yearns

to hear you say , once
