Blind Love

It surrounds me.
Blankets the air,
corrupts thee,
life without care.

Wake up!
You must breathe,
blind happiness,
whistling with ease.

Smell the stench,
the overwhelming fog,
your mind remains oblivious,
to the swelling smog.

Soft motley eyes,
wander over me,
a gift of clarity,
come to set me free.

Open my heart,
let me feel,
hand in hand,
the moment surreal.

Clouds are lifted,
whistling in tune,
my life was saved,
this midsummers June.
