Ms.Mantis...You Give Love a Bad Name.

                                      Waiting patiently for her lover to come,
                                          to satisfy her voracious appetite.
                                          She is hungry for his attention,
                                      seeing him would be a welcomed sight!

                                      She sits deceptively in a humble posture,
                                      swings back and forth mimicking leaves.
                                      She keeps praying for her sweet lover,
                                      while invisible, swaying in the breeze.

                                          Carnivorous desires keep her alert,
                                            could that be her love creeping?
                                          He cautiously makes his advances,
                                        she is by his side after quick leaping.     
                         
                                      The courtship displays a beautiful dance,
                                        stroking each other hours upon hours.
                                      Hungrily she stares at his turning head,
                                      needing a snack, wanting him to devour.

                                    Her cannibalistic response while copulating,
                                      the male must be cautious with his date.
                                      For if his partner is really hungry enough,
                                    he will end up as a meal rather than a mate!
