Thank you God for creating love......

Thank you God for creating arms with which we hug and hold,
Thank you God for the eyes that glisten and shine with love's sweet gold

Thank you God for creating lips that smile and laugh and kiss,
Thank you God for making  our hearts that love and hope and miss.

Thank you God for voices and words which heal when hearts break,
Thank you God for making hands which caress give and take.

Thank you God for making feet to walk and run and stand on,
Thank you for the moments shared quitely at twilight and at dawn.

Thank you God for giving us faith and prayer and tears,
To lean on when it is lost what we hold the most dear.

Thank you God for sleep and hunger and thirst and passion,
Thank you God for patience, sympathy and compassion.

Thank you God for everything I should thank you for, my friend above,
But please remind me every day to thank you for creating love.
