An epic poem |
I sing you a story of the Warrior Will, Whose reason for glory I give you to know And the day that the Moon gave its whole light to witness Over Dragon's tooth canyon's most honored Tableaux Now will was a young man and happy they say, To his honor he never showed anger or hate. But the Greatest of Dragons both crafty and Fey Had determined Will should meet his fate The Dragon Helfyr had chosen His time With a care He never Had bade But even the wiley old Dragon had caution When facing the mighty Will's Blade They all had been there, that unnatural Sunday When the Kings of Phylaxia tried To assassinate Will 'cause the signs said that one day A Great Knight would give back their pride And when once the Old Man of foretelling saw A vision of Will in the Helfyr's maw They both knew they'd do or die this time And lost all fin their final demise When young Will had slain the brothers He'd won him a valuable prize For the secret that won them the Crown at all Was a Wizard's enchanted device. Now Helfyr could see t'was a gamble to bring The Battle to young Will at all But the Dragon knew surely the Epic they'd sing When Helfyr brought William's down fall And so as the Sun reached its zenith Helfyr swept down into the pass And laid all on Will of his famous Hell Fire As also an evil flame poured from his ass At first Will incinerated, caught fire and started to fall But the Great Wizard's sceptre he'd captured Turned the great flame into a great wall As strange blaze left Helfyre enraptured So the Dragon enslaved to the will of Will Was His friend, pet and enforcer and true And all of the Kingdoms Will,s ruled since that day are the relic of the power of Dragon Bean stew |
