Halifax

This small coastal city,
Hollow as it may be,
Is a place where unseen things thrive,
Broken dreams line the bottom of the harbour,
Sadness weaves its way across the sky,
Anger hides in the alleyways and the parks,
Apathy fills the offices and skyscrapers,
As the sky shows its feelings,
And begins to cry down on Halifax.
