Will this summer be like the last?

Will we remember what happened?



Will we talk and laugh, joke and flirt?

Will we go for walks in the afternoon?

So we can sit alone for a while?

Will we watch the stars and the fireworks?

And hold hands in the dark?

Will we fall asleep in the grass?

And keep it a secret from them?



Or was it just a summer to live in our hearts?



Will we avoid each other?

Look down when we pass?

Will we even mention it?

Or will we just ignore it?
