On the Wings of an Eagle



On the wings of an eagle,

They soar through the sky.

On earth, they had troubles

But never asked why.



They had much in common

For though they had pain,

Still they'd keep on smiling

With heaven to gain.



The pain that they suffered,

You could scarce understand . . .

Some Moms, Dads or children . . .

Simply placed in God's hands.



They all fought the battle

And finished the race . . .

And now they are angels,

Saved by God's grace.



Let's honor these heroes . . .

They're special, you see . . .

Forever they'll live on

In our memories.
