Destiny

Do not be the slave of your past,
break away from the bondage fast.
Lingering on the past issues make you languish
and put a stop to your progress, until you relinquish.
Past is the vanishing trail you leave behind
but not a sermon to inquire into and rewind.
On your future, past has no bearing,
but only the course you are steering.
Hard to change yourself is only a belief,
shed the load and advance with big relief.

Drive away the excuses from your sight,
delve and explore your hidden might.
A man is who he wills him to be,
thrive for the dole with all might and glee.
