A View from Above

I thought I died today,
Maybe I did.
A dream?
Serene, sacred, sad,
Pitying people.
I saw them all,
As one sees ants,
Free of invisible strings that create action,
Drifting,
I watched people,
Busily doing nothing,
Thinking themselves important,
I laughed,
Thoughtless importance
Important thoughtlessness
To gain what?
Superficial conversations,
With no point.
Laughter with no joy.
Endless contradictions.
Thats all.
