Haunted Well

Down an old deserted country road.
There is a well that's deep and old.
One hundred feet from the road way.
Covered by trees that hides it today.


For years a legend has haunted it.
In it's deep bottom lays body bits.
A young boy was reported missing.
I will tell you the story if you listen.


House nearest well is where he lived.
Just down the road is where he is.
They say his step father was cruel.
Very big and strong like a wild bull.


This man knew of the wells presence.
He reported the boys disappearance.
Hope the authorities will find that well.
And find my bones the tests will tell.
