expanded like fields

i want longer hair so i can escape
from the oil of my depression
into the thick bottom part of the strands
still smooth as they dry into the night
because tresses don't have to completely close up as morning glories,
if wider petals too

and i'm a total opposite ombre of personality in two-toned mood
from top of scalp to the free-form silky locks hanging beneath
when i turn myself inside out from a stuck situation,
especially when growing bangs wave around front
like grasshopper faces
