A old short Zombie preface. Still in need of many revision. suggestions would be great.
He breathed frantically as he darted from the lighted streets to the dark mysterious alley ways trying to escape the horrors around him. He had no idea as to what could possible be happening, such frightening images all bundled in his mind. It couldn't be possible for such things to really be happening could it?! He didn't want to believe it, but no matter what he had to, there was no escaping this nightmare to which it seemed he was permanently stuck in. How could it have all turned to this? It made no sense to him whatsoever, he's seen things like this in movies and in video games...but to happen in real life... preposterous!! It was all just a terrible dream. It had to be! Nothing could ever happen like this, there was just no way. He fell hard to the ground clutching his head trying to disperse of all thoughts, he couldn't take it anymore this was all just too much for him to bare. It drove him to near insanity just thinking about it, so it was best he just try and stop to the best of his extent and to perhaps find others like him who where still whole and sane, but where could he possible look?

As he proceeded cautiously ahead catching his breathe and loosing it at almost every step all at the same instant, he was exhausted, and starving. Fear had been the only thing stopping him to search for any means of nourishment, he couldn't take another step, his whole body ached from wondering so far without rest. as well as running when he thought he might have possibly heard "Them", he defiantly had to rest and let his body rejuvenate. Luckily all seemed quite at the moment, which comforted and frightened him all at the same time; for he knew in the depths of silence he would hear their moans in the distance, the thought of that sent death chilling impulses down his spine; to which he could barely control. Trying to push those restless thoughts away, perhaps, he could find a high secure place to rest up for the time being.
