The Classical Prank

                                                                I can feel the water dripping on my face,
                                                                              I feel my clothes drain,
                                                                                  I can feel the rain,
                                                                                  I look at they sky,
                                                                            The clouds are a dark grey,

                                                                          My socks are wet from the rain,
                                                                                The day looks gloomy,
                                                                                But my mood is not,
                                                                          I feel the smile across my face,
                                                                        I feel a warmth from inside my heart,
                                                                                The rain gets heavy,
                                                                                    I start to run,

                                                                                  Down the street,
                                                                                  across the bridge,
                                                                                    I run and run,
                                                                                  I don't look back,
                                                                                  Only look forward,
                                                                                  At what's coming,
                                                                                  Not what's going,
           
                                                                              My heart is says stop,
                                                                            But my body's saying go,
                                                                                My legs scream,
                                                                              But they don't stop,
                                                                        I feel free like the rain drops,
                                                                           
                                                                      My heart pounds through my chest,
                                                                            The rain calms down,
                                                                        The clouds start to fade away,
                                                                            I start to slow down,
                                                                                I look to the sky,
                                                                           
                                                                          The birds are in the air,
                                                                            I see they blue sky,
                                                                  The colourful rainbow above the birds,
                                                                              Feel the freedom,
                                                                           
                                                                            I see the bright sky,
                                                                              I feel the warmth,
                                                                              My life is perfect.
