End of Days

Forced into a world
as it falls apart around the ones forced in first
but only crumbles as we start our journey
as the days goes by the end feels like it's nearer and nearer
it only grows worse
day after day
living with the turmoil acting as if it doesn't matter
living
knowing
that the world around us is crumbling ever faster
that our mind goes with the world as it falls apart
that there is nothing we can do
that it will only come closer
and closer
and closer
until it is upon us
but who knows
death may strike early
and we may never know
but we can hope
and we can wait
to see what has become when we wake up
after the day
after the end
