A fight for power.
The sound of metal against metal echoed into the valley like ripples in the water when the White Knight raised his sword one more time, trying desperately to win against his rival. “Those who can claim it will gain great power …” the words of his father went through his mind once more.  As he struck again, the Black Knight dodged the hit, threw a punch and ran towards the forest. In a matter of seconds he was gone.
The White Knight took a deep breath and winced. The pain from his wound was not easy to bear, but he clenched his teeth and set out to track his enemy. The task did not seem difficult since his opponent was even more seriously wounded and all he had to do was follow the blood trail.
And there he was, leaning against the trunk of a fallen tree, the Black Knight barely able to hold his head strait.
                  - I never imagined that I, of all people would want to die with honor, but, never the less that is my last wish. Please bring my body back to my family.
The White Knight nodded slightly and after the Black Knight had drawn his last breath, there was a sudden gush of wind and a nearly blinding light filled the place around them. The source of the light, a beautiful , pure white stallion now stood in front of him and as he gently stoke the horses cheek the horn of victory sounded at last. It was finally over.
