whats more important in life..success or happiness?
whats more important in life?happiness or success?
im successful, i study in one of the best institutes, im among the top three students in the class, i have a good social status, i have alot of friends, i cant be called bad looking, inshort i have all the things people need to be happy.so why am i not happy?
we work so hard in our lives to get things to make us happy.we work day and night to get good grades to stay on the top of the game, we spend thousands to get fancy clothes to stand out from the rest, we bitch around we lie just to get better things in life, just to fit on the standard of being successful, because we ASSUME that'll make us happy.but what when we have everything but happiness?what if we are on the top of the game but we dont feel high?
so i started thinking..why after getting all the things i needed, i felt so empty?because i dont have people to share the happiness with.happiness is not in material things, its in beautiful relationships.have you ever had a crappy cup of coffee, at a crappy place but with someone who loved you and felt like the luckiest person in the world?have you ever felt like the most beautiful person in the world because that someone said something good about you?have you ever wasted hours talking to someone and felt like thats the only time you saved?have you ever screwed up you exam because you were talking to the one you love the previous night?
once you live these moments you stop liking the world.love doesnt make you blind it just open your eyes to the things that matter more..to the real beauties of world!
