As lazy as sin

Why sit around doing nothing all day?
With no working life and earning no pay.
Your life won't develop. You will not learn a trade.
Never feeling happy of the life that you have made.

Ending up like a boring old bum.
Never to earn a good healthy sum.
A pocket as empty as a dirty old bin.
Living as poor and as silly as sin.

You can always do nothing and sit on you butt.
Stay all alone and stuck in a rut.
You need to stay busy and use your old brain.
Sitting bone idle will leave you insane.

It's time to get up and look for a job.
Don't sit around like a lazy old slob.
See, you ll be happy to set a new goal.
Have a new life that is under control.

No need to depend on the social no more.
It won t have to feel like a boring old chore.
Now you can work with your heart and your sole.
Never be told you are stuck on the dole.
