Personal poem about a relationship I had .. it speaks for itself, really
Everybody needs a place, a place to rest their head,
But not everybody needs a spot to make their bed,
'Cause some of us are ghosts
Kissing goodnight the innocent mistakes others make,
For it'll be just another day
Before they make you pay.

Why would you do that to me?
Why do you need to do it?
Like a breeze, you come in and steal my flesh,
Rip my veins and play possess.

It's not what you do and say to me,
It's what you do and say to others.
Don't try to lip-sync your heart,
'Cause no honest words are coming out of those red borders.

I tried and failed to make you see
That I am all the man you need.
I tried in vain to seek
A perfect place to set you free.

Free from the horrors that you've suffered;
I tried in vain to seek a spot to keep you buffered.
Buffered from the lies that went through your ears
And rearrenged your feelings and attachments,
But I cannot make you see
That all those guys just want to fuck you.
They want to fuck you and hurt you,
Despise you.
I worry,
My darling,
I swear.
You push me away with every fake promise you make me go through
And try to bind me an inch closer to you.

I do not hate you for what you are,
I hate what you're turning into.
I do love you for who you are,
I do not love the path you're heading to.

You've scarred me hard
And made me bleed
With every lie you've stabbed me with.
I'm filling a pool where I'll swim forever,
When my soul let's me go to serve my last endeavour.

An endeavour to be happy, at last.
