Death Debate



Atheist:

The end, separation,

The very last stop,



Christian:

The start, the beginning,

What a wonderful thought!



Atheist:

A pity, the last words,

There's naught else to see,



Christian:

A joy, a new journey,

A reunion to me,



Atheist:

It’s death and there's no more,

The Grim Reaper's here,



Christian:

It’s death and there's much more,

Nothing to fear.



Atheist:

A step for evolving,

What else can I say?



Christian:

It’s God's final calling,

The start of a day!



Atheist:

A sleep never-ending,

No soul that may flee,



Christian:

There’s Hell or there's Heaven,

As we all will see.



Atheist:

A pile of dust,

Ashes to ashes,



Christian:

A body that's whole,

A robe and fine sashes.



Atheist:

The good of mankind,

Survival of strong,



Christian:

The humble will rule,

The weak praise him with song.



Atheist:

There’s only this earth,

No realms with their gods,



Christian:

There’s One, and he’s loving,

Unlike all frauds.



Atheist:

I don’t need a god,

Or some fancy deal.



Christian:

One day He will come,

And all knees will kneel.
