"Okay, maybe we should start over. I'm Angie."

"Sure . . . whatever."

"What's your name?"

"Uh, it's Madison."

"Nice name! I just came over here because you were looking really bored."

"Really."

"Um, yeah. Do you want me to go away . . . ?"

"A bit late now."

"What?"

"Nothing. You can stay."

"Thanks! So, what're you doing?"

". . . . nothing, actually. I'm bored."

"Oh. Well, then . . ."

"Yes?"

"What's that?"

"That? That's, that's nothing . . ."

"No, seriously, it looks nice!"

"You think so? I love to draw, but I haven't really ever shown anybody . . ."

"I'm not kidding! That's awesome, Madison! Can I . . . I mean, is it okay if maybe I could see a bit more?"

". . . . I guess."

"Oh! This is amazing!! How long have you been drawing? I really love this one!"

"A while."

"Oh, that's the school bell - but, seriously, these drawings are so realistic! You know, I like to draw a bit too, but I'm not that good. Do you think it'd be okay if maybe . . . you know . . . you could give me a few pointers? Just for a few minutes. After class."

"Well . . . it's not like I have anything planned. Okay. I'll meet you - after class."
