A husband and wife each argue in their own way, but come to an understanding.
Avery shivered when she heard the apartment door shut. Her thin silk nightie offered little buffer between her skin and the chill of the room. Rubbing her hands up and down her arms, she bit her lip. The look on his brother's face when Jarek had sent her to bed brought a flush to her cheeks. He treated her like a child. He was being unreasonable, even for Jarek. There was dominating, and then there was just plain ridiculous. As endearing as his jealousy normally was, the anger on his face downstairs had scared the shit out of her. Hearing her husband's footsteps on the metal stairs, she tensed.

"I was just showing him our new home," she shouted, fear and frustration tripping over one another.

He crossed the bedroom without a word. Anger still blazed in his oceanic eyes making them a turbulent shade of blue as he shrugged out of his shirt.

"He's your brother!"

Rolling his shoulders, he cracked his neck. The metallic jangle of his belt made her tense. Biting her lip, Avery watched him methodically strip the remainder of his clothes and toss them into the hamper.

"Jesus, Jarek, talk to me! I didn't mean anything by it! I didn't do anything wrong!"

The bed dipped beneath his weight. Her hands balled with uncertainty. She didn't know if she should reach for him or wait to see where his intentions lie. She scooted back on the bed. Why the hell didn't he say something?

A frightened squawk died on her lips when his hand shot out to clamp around the slender column of her throat. His hot breath fell against her ear, his darkened features pressing dangerously close, illuminated only by the pale glint of the moon hanging outside their bedroom window. His fingers tightened and her heart thundered in her ears. Limp in his grasp, Avery stared back at him with pleading eyes. The room pitched, spinning around her as her lungs burned.

His voice was a low sinister rasp laden with warning.

"If you ever invite another man into our bedroom again, I'll kill him, and make you beg for death. Do you understand me?"

She nodded as much as his brutal chokehold would allow, all thoughts of innocence and protest fleeing her mind. Her dark eyes screamed for mercy.

A rough knee shoved her thighs apart. His grip loosened just enough to allow her to suck a gasping breath into her oxygen starved lungs. He drove into her without warning, hand clamping back around her throat. Stretched and stuffed full, Avery could do nothing but pray her body adjusted.

"NO man EVER comes into our bedroom but me," Jarek growled, his rocking against her. The thrusts were hard, slow and deep, leaving no doubt in her mind he was staking his claim. "EVER. You got that, Avery?"

Darkness swirled before her eyes. Nodding, she struggled to hold onto the last fragile thread of consciousness. Tears leaked from the corner of her eyes and slid down her cheeks. Jarek's lips brushed her temple, his fingers unfurling. Shuddering, she sobbed beneath him, drawing in deep, greedy breaths.

Oxygen spiraled through her body. It was dizzying combined with the hard ram of Jarek's cock. He drilled into her, his fist tangling in her sable locks. Her body arched beneath his, eager to show him her submission and hunger. His thin lips slashed against hers drowning out her cries. Her nails sank deep into his skin, heels spurring him on. Within minutes, she crashed over the edge, her keening cry joining the low growl rumbling through Jarek's chest.

He continued to pound into her, the headboard clattering a violent rhythm against the wall. Her body ached from his tireless efforts. Sweat dripped off his brow, his face flushed and contorted above her. His mouth twisted into a sneer, the sight making her explode with pleasure again. This time, he could not hold back. Wrenching her head back, he picked up the pace, the loud slap of their bodies drowning out all else. Their mouths meshed in violent collision, tongues dueling until he stiffened. Throwing his head back, Jarek roared his release, his victorious bellow bouncing off the brick walls.

Feeling his lips against her throat, Avery's eyes fluttered open. Dazed, she reached for him, fingers running through his damp cowlicks as he kissed the red marks spanning her neck.

"I love you," he murmured against her skin, making her shiver. "Never doubt that, Avery, but the one thing I will never do is share. I don't care what your intentions were. Never invite another man into our bedroom again."
