I float above the clouds,
twisting and turning through its silver lining.
I can see the thunder and the lighting mingling,
and tearing the clouds apart.
Turmoil fills my own soul just watching, waiting for release.
Pent up angst, anger, animosity, waiting to explode out and open,
Leaving me vulnerable.
I can see everyone below me; my friends, my family.
They are wondering where I am and what I’m doing.
I wish I could come down and show them,
drag down the cloud and put in their face,
shove it down their throats.
But I stay floating, waiting; for what? I’m not sure.
