The world is changing badly

Why must people always be selfish,
No one ever seems to care anymore.
They think just because they have a good life,
Then everybody must.

What about all the homeless and sick people?
Why should they get nothing and have stuck up brats get everything?
Homeless try to get money but people just think their worthless.
Rich people just get everything handed to them and work for nothing.

It seems that no matter how hard you try,
Nothing turns out to be the way you wanted it to be.
I pray every night hoping people would wake up,
Realizing what this world is coming to.

If everyone just helped out every once in a while,
I believe we could make this world a bright and better place.
There wouldn't be as many homeless people as there are right now.
If you care you would stop thinking everything is about you and helped out a bit.

People everyday are loosing their jobs, leaving millions homeless.
Young childen are starving because of this,
If the rich donated a little money,
Then we wouldn't have to see boys and girls laying dead on the sreets.

Please, just donate your spare change,
And you could help these boys and girls.
Their parents have no way to support them,
With the way the ecomony is.
