Desperation, feeling lost and alone - a woman at the edge of the 'abyss' of her emotions.
As chaos splits, more chaos begins
my master knows and grins
he knows the truth is there within
our mysteries are akin
as strangers eye to eye
but lovers together our voices within
I feel you in my blood, my veins
your love does surge deep within
beneath my nervous blush and tender skin
how desperately I wanted to pull you in
skin to skin, drinking each others passion in
close and secret our souls have been
from almost the beginning, my passion
flame began, overtook me and drew me in
all walls broke as I drank you in
my eyes loved it and sweetly I kept you in
your face, your eyes, the magic was there
Goddess! I beheld those feelings,
and my love I did adore!

Sweetness unto my heart, unfelt before
but restraint, I must do, I must still the roar.
The dream so real and I felt it so strong
I truly felt you in my blood, my soul, all along
immense curiosity holding open a deeper door
oh how I wanted to know more
winding paths,
sweaty bodies and waves that beat upon the shore
oh how you I did adore
whether its good poetry or magic or lore
charmed was I, and you I will adore
not wanting to wander in dreams no more
flame to flame we had passion galore
now, I look for a cigarette and then one more
as I stare at the unlaboring stars
I do not wish to return no more
for another woman has a claim on you
oh for you, a million lips are thirsting for
do tell me,
what lies there behind your sweet face

I fondle the weakness inside of me
my heart and my mind are at mortal war
while still I can, and may, I will write for you
but here along the waters edge I lie these things and more
I will remember you, deep as the bottom as the sea
were those moments shared between us
perhaps it was too lovely to explore
serenely in the moon light at this gentle shore
I fall upon the earth
here I lie, quiet and naked,
my soul, exposed once more
deep red lips gently parted,
I scream out to the still moon once more
I cannot let the darkness win,
I wish to close my hearts shutter and stay in
oh moon they light is dim
scattered across my body like streaks across a dolphins fin
sweetly, softly, I breathe in
death and darkness gnawing at my soul
came serenity as I wade within
cool, whispering waters entice me and draw me in
darkness overtakes me begs of me to die
under the moonlight glistens my white, pale skin
the crow chimes and circles above
as I wade deeper in
his sharp black eyes, pierce me like a pin
my last words, I shall perish here on the shore
others thirst, I made thirst my door
loves sweetest part is spice I swore
you alone, I did adore
the water cold and painful as ice
slowly it climbs
above my pale and quivering thighs
soon to cover my painted lips, blue eyes
truly I do not wish to die!
alas, fate has a twist for me
Goddess, was I wrong to give him a try?
As the moon peaked her radiant glow,
my boat drifting like a leaf
a gleaming shape, I float by
barely awake, half dead was I
dead-pale my skin, as if I said good-bye
beauty shows within my deep blue eyes
loosened hair spilled upon the water
within this river, my secrets lie deep within
whence comes my peace?
I have love and pain
when comes my blessed release
Oh Goddess encircle me,
love me
sing me into peace
strikes the truth within
faint of spirit, cold and alone
I drink deep of the Goddess within
with a metallic grin I see
my Goddess, sweet Goddess
fer firm moist skin, her cherry red lips
she kisses my brow, my cheek, my chin
sweetly, she whispers the truth is there within
your thirst will come back, like it did before
oh weep no more, thou will be called on for more
through devoted eyes she swore
I am your friend, your Goddess to love and adore
the vision of her gentle face
I'll remember forevermore
with a radiant finger to my heart, she stilled the roar
flame to flame my darkness was devoured
she sang to me the changes of the moon
the wind and waters did roar
pulling my boat on the land
she sat me upright upon the shore
set my passion for life budding once more
as she trod upon these rocks, this shore
returning to her palace once more
the clouds moved over and the sun shined once more

I fall whispering as before,
here alone, but lighter than before...
