Say what you want, I'll hold my head high

To give you the satisfaction? I'd rather die.

I grew up strong, need no support.

You're jabs? They just fall short.

I am alive. I can survive.



I'll stare at you, right in your eye

You think you're funny? Maybe in junior high.

I am my own, need no consent

You want my respect? You'd have to be heaven sent.

Whatever you do, I will be fine

You want to see me crumble? Get in line.

I will stand tall, even after the deceit

Waiting for me to fall?  It will be awhile grab a seat.
