Ryan learns that his sins have come back to haunt him after entering the Gates Ferry Mall
This story is about Ryan Taylor, a young man who lives a morally corrupted life as he sails through it by using others to gain what he wants. After fleeing town he finds the Gates Ferry Mall in the center of an abandoned town off of the highway. He enters the mall with a custodian he lets him inside before it opens for the day, and discovers that it is magnificent. To Ryan's dismay, this lavish palace is only the gateway to the punishment for his sins. As he passes through hell, Ryan realizes what he has done to destroy the people who loved him the most and how he must change it.
