A Writer....

pens and paper
in every place of my life
my truck, my jacket,
bedroom, living room, den
because I am a writer...
disorganized house
and shambles of a life
because I am a writer...
too many things to do
and always never enough time
fitting too many things at once
in a day
because I am a writer...
writer of my thoughts,
that always run away
jumbled and smashed together
always disappearing
not knowing what to do
so I find myself, writing...
just trying to sort them out,
sometimes,
I think it works
but yet,
it still looks the same
