DISTORTION_INCLUDED: Introduction

Watching the faceless man on the playback, I saw that the image was now becoming unstable.The image rippled a bit, like water after a pebble is dropped in, then it flashed back to its original look. Several frames later, it happened again, only this time the ripples were in a zig-zag pattern rather than circular formation moving
outward. I also noticed the brightness of the image fade, as the contrast went higher. I now saw the barely visible shapes of the man and his surroundings become a distorted, static image of red, orange, yellow and black shaded blobs. I had reached the final part
of the video. The last thing I remember happening before waking up in my room four days later was the last thing recorded on camera. This was the part when I had dropped the camera and had fallen to the forest floor. The video cut out several seconds later after an ear piercing barrage of distored sounds flooded my speaker. At this point I figure most people would have phoned the police or given up and deleted the video. For me, this was not an option. I knew the police couldn't do anything about this, and I knew the man's appearance wouldn't be his last if I deleted the video. Yet, even though what had happened to me in that forest four days ago would change my life forever, I felt both the feeling of excitement and accomplishment. After all, I had just obtained solid evidence of the existence of my attacker...The Slender Man.
