Candy Hearts and You

A Cinq-cinquain poem written for a contest using candy hearts and you

Candy
heartsand you have
put me in the mood for
loving you with the soft sounds of
Coltrane

The moon
will supply the
lighting and the flowers
will add just the right fragrance to
the air

Mountains
of strawberries,
sweet whipped cream and lots of
melted chocolate flirt with our
senses

Coltrane
and his sultry
sounds are enough to put
any girl in the mood but add
a few

Candy
heartsand you have
given my heart a fresh
start and a reason to believe
again
