I find that all I've been able to write about lately is love.
Change that is the thing I most detest
It doesn't compare to the rest
For change is the thing I most detest
My tears they fall down like rain in the month of May
Just hold me and say everything is going to be ok
For my tears they fall down like rain in the month of May
You always had been stronger
You were the leader and I was the follower
You moved forward while I lagged behind savoring what once was
You had let go, but I couldn't seem to relinquish my hold
For you always had been stronger.

I find that time is slipping by
Slipping by into oblivion
I say I'm fine, but that's just a lie
A lie I use to cover up the pain I feel inside
I wish someone would call me out
Call me out before I shout
I realize that you must not be the one
The one who is my one true love
I want someone who will see
Will see the walls that I had put up
I need someone who will break
Break the walls that no one else could.

Some endure and others break
Some breathe easy and others suffocate
Some fight and others arn't even a contender
Some conquer and others surrender
Some are strong and others are weak
Some are fearless and others are meek
Some jump in and others postpone
Some need someone and others can be alone
Some feel limitless and others feel bound
Some prefer to fly and others prefer to stay on the ground
Some shine and others admire
Some pull through and others expire
Some can see the light and others can only see the dark
Some ignite and others can only spark
Some endure and others break
Some breathe easy and others suffocate
