Burglars for Hire

Blaine Campbell is a Cat Burglar who has been out of comission for approximately one year. He recently has been off probation for a serving time in the County Jail for a burglary in which he was caught and arrested, and what better job for a burglar to have once being released from jail than to become a Security Consultant. He was hired by the firm's Manager Diane Ruzak who knew everything there was to know about Blaine who is 5'8, Medium build, Brown eyes,short Brown hair, clean shaved and is 41 years of age. Diane is 5'7, Medium build, Hazel eyes, Shoulder length Sandy blonde hair thats she wears feathered and is 48 years of age.

"Mr.Campbell may I see you in my office please"? Blaine enters Diane's office,"Yes Ms.Ruzak what can I can do for you?" "Close the door please and have a seat". At this point Blaine thought he was getting fired. "Mr.Campbell have you had lunch yet"? "No I haven't" just then Diane pulls a sandwich out for Blaine and one for her, "Here, our meeting is going to be awhile, I hope you like Tuna Fish because thats what I made". "I do Ms.Ruzak, you must have read my mind because Tuna fish is my favorite". "It's my favorite as well", They both begin eating their sandwiches and Diane begins talking,"The reason why I called you in my office is because I have a business proposition for you in which we would be working together if you choose to accept". Blaine pauses and then asks"What's the proposition"? "Are you familiar with Bill and Kathy Vanderpool"? Blain pauses again, these were the people who he tried to Rob and the burglary went awry. As he and Diane continue eating their Tuna fish sandwiches in Diane's office, Blaine hesitantly speaks"Yes I have heard of them". "I know" said Diane," You were caught down the street from their house the night of the break in weren't you." He pauses again and then speaks, "Yes" " I want to let you in on a little secret Mr.Campbell, i'm a Cat Burglar too, and I want you and I to break into the VanDerpool's home and steal all their jewelry thats valued at $250,000, this your chance for redemption with help from me, are you in"? He pauses one more time and then answers,"Yes Ms.Ruzak, i'm in". "Very good, i'm glad to hear it, now we have to do this within 48 hours, here's the floor plan to their house, I consulted for them when they installed their Alarm system in their home, so disarming it will be a cinch, now lets finish our lunch, we have alot of work to do" "Yes Mam".

48 hours has come and both Blaine and Diane have scoped out the home and have negociated their entrance into the home.it's 1 am and the couple are in front of the home, both of them dressed all in black from head to toe wearing Black Slacks, Black Sweaters, Black Leather Gloves, Black Dress Tennis shoes, and Black Wool Ski Masks. Crouched down behind a bush where it is the darkest area on the property, Blaine and Diane find the window that they will be climbing through to gain entrance into the home. Blaine pulls out his Lock Picking tools as Diane holds the flashlight steady for him, he gets the window open, before they enter, they both look at each other in their Ski Masked covered faces, "Ms.Ruzak are you ready"? as Blaine asks in a whispering tone,"I sure am" Diane replies also in a whispering tone, they both begin climbing through the window of the VanDerpool's home with Blaine in front and Diane entering right behind him. Once in the home Diane immediately spots the alarm Keypad and quickly taps Blaine on the shoulder to quietly follow her over there. Diane knows the combination and disarms it without any complications. They both then begin to quietly walk to Mr. Bill VanDerpool's den where the safe is at. Once in his den, they both immediately shine their flashlights to the safe and tip toe over there whithout making a single sound. Diane once again holds her flashlight steady so Blaine can crack open the safe without fail. Blaine begins turning the knob on the safe until he hears three clicks, after the third click, he opens the safe as he and Diane both stare at the contents in the safe with big smiles and begin rubbing their gloved hands as if percission meant evrything. Blaine begins taking the items out of the safe and very quietly and carefully hands them to Diane as she puts it into a bag,this continues for the next minute or two until the safe is empty and then Blaine closes the safe very quietly without making a sound then turns to Diane "Lets check to see if the coast is clear" Diane ackknowledges"Okay" she responds, they check and the coast is clear for them to make a silent exit out the way they came in, just as they were making their way to the window they entered in from, Bill and Kathy VanDerpool pull into the garage after a night out with friends. Blaine and Diane look at each other in panic knowing that they can't go out through that window because it's too close to the garage. At that point Blaine speaks "Ms.Ruzak we still have to rearm the Alarm system and they'll be inside at any moment!! "I am totally aware of that Mr.Campbell, so just hush and be quiet!!" At this point the well oiled machine was beggining to fall apart at the seems, they had to rearm the sytem quickly before the VanDerpools got inside. "Ms.Ruzak, I hear a door opening." "Shut up Mr.Campbell and keep that flashlight on the Keypad while I finish turning the alarm back on." No sooner that Diane turned the Alarm back on, the VanDerpool's open the door the door from the garage to the utilty room and Blaine and Diane were trapped with nowhere to go and both of them began to panic and argue with each other. "Well Mr.Campbell what now!!" What are you asking me for, you were the one that had the floor plan to this place!!"Just then Kathy VanDerpool heard them arguing"Bill, someones' in our house I can hear them, it sounds like a man and a woman!!" Bill listens for amoment "I hear them too Kathy, do you know who that woman sounds like?" Yeah, I do, that sounds like Diane Ruzak our Security Consultant!!" Meanwhile Blaine and Diane continue to blame each other for the botched burglary attempt,"Ms.Ruzak, lets get out of here before they come in!!" "Let's go before we get caught Mr.Campbell" They run to the window to make their escape and manage to climb through the window and make it out right before Bill and
Kathy rush into the house to look for the intruders.

Back at the office where they agreed to go after the burglary, Blaine and Diane are in Diane's office looking at what they stole. Just then Diane speaks, "Mr.Campbell, this was too close for comfort tonight, we were a split second away from getting caught, and i'm sure the VanDerpools heard us arguing, we need to get it together so we don't ever panic like this again, are you with me?" "Yes Ms.Ruzak, I am,.""Ok good,i'm going to give you another chance only because I don't trust you and Iknow you don't trust me, and as long as were working together, we can't snitch on each other"Blaine replies " Agreed Ms.Ruzak" Diane replies back " Lets go home and be back here in my office at 10 am sharp, you have been promoted to my assistant, which means we'll be working together alot".
