Dynamics of Faith and the Future.... |
The murmur of their voices was like gentle laughter in his ears. The life was open to him, like music to the ears. Mickey flipped his yo-yo and laughed. "Heh. I sure am psychic." He had his favorite orange shorts and moccasins. Mickey had won a big roll of cash. He liked to play black jack at the the Trump Casino. "Heh-heh. I made a bundle today." Mickey snapped his fingers. He did that when he had a lot of money. "Well. I guess I'll get me some booze and a fancy lady." Mickey snapped his fingers and his legs bounced. Just then a huge man punched Mickey in the head and took the money. Mickey sat on the sidewalk seeing stars. The man got away with Mickey's loot. "Hey! That's my money!" Mickey shouted. But, he couldn't stand up. His head hurt too much. Just then the really cute Black Jack dealer that Mickey had been playing with stepped out of the casino. "Are you okay?" she asked. "Oh-nuts! That palooka took my money." Mickey stumbled to his feet with the dealer's help. "My name is Minny. Can I buy you a drink?" Minny asked. Minny was a fine looking babe. She had on a short ruffled red and white polka dot shirt and big polka dot bow in her hair. "Wow! Yeah, that would be great!" Mickey shook Minny's hand. "Hey? If I'm psychic why didn't I know this was gonna happen?" Mickey asked. "What makes you think your psychic?" Minny asked. "Well, I always win a lot of money at Black Jack." Mickey answered with a snicker. Minny lowered her gaze, "I like to let you win." "Oh? Whah-ha-haha!" Mickey laughed and Minny laughed too. It was a match made in a casino. :) |
