A Cold Day Beyond the Desert

Leopard painted skin
and the ants crossing over
derived of my sole illusion
cast in a fist of sand

In a glass covered hand
he's come to steal my shadow
a worm at dusk
in aqua hues I scream,
no god can take these sins
he's closing in

So shove it
you're no savior,
no chance to bring me hope

A tormenting vision
lost in confusion
trapped by an icy hand

Trembling in my last winter
as it only brought disease
