Bug Love

I love bugs, but my mother says, "Ugh!"
I like anything that hops, or crawls, or flies.
When I go outside, I'm not terrified
if I see a neat bug in disguise.

I think lady bugs are cute when they land on my boot.
And centipedes make me laugh all the time.
Bees are not too bad, 'cause their honey on toast makes me glad.
And lightning bugs are so neat at my bedtime.

He loves animals too. And his house is a zoo
with ten cages of iguanas and snakes.
