Spy v.s. Spy

    Montel explained to his new partner. They had just begun their sweep.
    "I still feel uneasy about this." his partner remarked.
          "Now don't get cold feet. We must use every means to track
    evil doers." Montel continued to focus his devices. The screen crackled
    with static. "There! You see?" he pointed at an image of a man, having
    sex with three mermaids under water.
          His partner looked perplexed. "Well, that is deviant behavior.
    Now, we can track him. He may commit a sexual offense." Montel said
    with a smirk and numbered the subject in his online file.
          "Ah, can this hold up in court? I mean he's just dreaming?" the partner
    spoke with trepidation. Montel turned his gaze from his mind scanner screen
    and glared at his new recruit; "What do you think profiling is for?"
    This was the brave new world of thought control and no idea would go
    unwatched even dreams.
