Suspending Time Before Creation

      above us, beauty unexplained
      exceeding sorrow, beyond pain.

      Contagious thoughts rack my brain
      taught by those whom I disdain

      aloft a structure, no foundation
      suspending time before creation.
 
      we pass by splendor, hesitation
      scathing dreams of animation.

      at war with self, beside reason
      Utopian, in hopes of Eden.

      feeble steps toward sovereign skies
      escaping clouds of constant lies.

      knowledge flows from seas unknown
      the answers lie from which we've grown.

      seeping into times of grandeur,
      eternal theories left to slander.

      our hearts aflame burn like no other
      enough to make a grown man shudder.

      breathing in imagination,
      feeds the need of pure sensation.
