Poem For my Father

“Starlight,
Star bright,
First star I see tonight
I wish I may
I wish I might
Wish the wish
I wish tonight…
Although many
Not all are pure
And so if any
I wish for a cure
For those who loose control
And are in pain
For long it hasn’t been possible
It seems as though it’s all been in vain
But with your help, a glimmer of hope
To solve all problems with ease
They will no longer just have to cope
They will bring an end to the Parkinson’s Disease.”
