Simon moves to a creepy new town with creepy new people. And these are his adventures |
| Based on shows like Gravity Falls and Ruby Gloom, and books like Bailey School Kids. This story is about a young boy who moves to Darkwood Grove, a depressing town full of strange and mysterious people, and even stranger and more mysterious secrets. And Simon is destined to uncover those secrets, whether he wants to or not. Characters Simon-a smart but awkward eleven year old boy who has a love for puzzles. He tends to keep to himself, but soon finds himself engrossed in the many mysteries in his new town. Allies Ms Melanie Grimm: Simon's schoolteacher, is sweet, charming and upbeat. Suspected to be descended from along line of witches. Her most defining features are her enormous nose and terrible allergies, the worst of which is, ironically enough, to children. Known to sneeze and blow her nose with enough force to shake a building and blow people away. Despite her allergies, she loves children and goes out of her was to help Simon in anyway she can. Victor: Simon's college aged next door neighbor. Known to be "weird" by most everyone in town, Victor is an eccentric young man who dabbles in the strange and unexplainable. Simon is the only one who truly listens to his stories about the supernatural, paranormal, and occult secrets hidden away in Darkwood Grove. He has high hopes that Simon will uncover the hidden truths of their town. Desdemona Graves: A sweet, spooky eleven year old goth girl. As the only daughter of the wealthy Graves family, she gets everything she wants. But she carries a familial curse of horrible luck which brings misfortune to everyone around her. Due to this she has almost no friends and is incredibly lonely. She develops an instant attraction to Simon and tends to follow him everywhere. Enemies Principal Darrow: the principal of Simon's elementary school. Who dislikes Simon because of his constant strives against the status quo, i.e. delving into the secrets of the town, and disregard for his authority. Steve: Known as Stevil(Steve-evil) around town. The school bully who resents Simon for capturing the heart of Desdemona, his crush, and for frequently outsmarting him. Arthur Magnum: Owner of Magnum Industries and arguably the most powerful man in town. He's out to discover the town's many secrets for himself in hopes of profiting from them, and sees Simon as a thorn in his side. I'm hoping that I can make a real story from this.
