knowing you

When I first met you, I knew that I would fall completely,

but what I didn't know was how bad it would hurt.

For every guy whose let you down, and gave you nothing but excuses

for those who left you with just a few words and a broken heart

for every time you've opened up and trusted 'one completely

just to have it all taken for granted,

I tried to let this feeling go, and support you through it all,

but every time you confide in me, I fall all over again.

I want to protect you smile, your innocence, your honesty,

but with each new break it becomes harder to return your heart to its original state.

Still I will be by your side, and there for you whenever you need me.

You mean so much to me..

I ask again, the question you can never seem to find an answer to,

why am I not good enough?
