Waves of energy


I see the complexity of your soul through your eyes

like the effect a thrown stone has on a placid lake.

The waves, like energy, flow smoothly from the center

Radiating peace, giving me a sense of wholeness in this chaotic world

If I could only understand the nature of this feeling

Like a puzzle given to me by the universe

I stare to the sky waiting for an exploding supernova to give me a sign


Supernatural bliss, is this what true happiness feels like?

Walking around, unaware of material things around me

Seeing life through emotions instead of my eyes

I hear the whispers of trees telling old tales of truth

While the secrets of the universe stay hidden in the soil we stand upon

If only the moon was to give me a sign to reassure me of my findings

Is this simply my imagination or is this supernatural experience my reality?

You have opened and dared to journey inside the inner workings of my crazy mind

And yet your faith in me has yet to waiver

Two old souls searching for the true meaning of life


I can sense Nature's energy coursing through my veins

I can see your aura, a barrage of brilliant colors

Continuously pulsating from every inch of your body

Nervously standing by, waiting for it to collide with mine in a great shockwave

Resulting in a surge of colors and energy flooding every ounce of my being

Not knowing or caring what is to become of this immaculate phenomenon

For in this moment... I am happy.
