Chapter One


23 Year old Kari Starr woke up in a hospital, after being in a coma for 5 years, something, seemed, unsettling. Kari got out of the bed, brushed dried blood off of herself,wondering where the blood came from. she took an ibuprophen, put on her clothes, put the bottle of ibuprophen in her backpack, and went out her door, and ...."ack!" kari screamed, there was a huge hole in the floor, down to the first floor of the hostpital, everything was... destroyed. the walls arround her all had big holes in them, there was dry blood on the floor, no one in the hospital, no one in the world!

She snuck around the hole went down stairs, and over to a small, grimy looking building, she went in, it was a mini mart, but it was hard to tell, there was a big hole in the side, but inside, she found curdled milk, moldy deli foods, and stinky... something, Kari wasnt quite sure what it was, but she grabbed some bags of chips, some water bottles and as much non perishable foods as she could fit in her backpack and set off into the old, abandoned town. Emediatly, a person jumped out at her! "Ack!" Kari yelped, the person's skin and flesh was rotting off. Kari realized, it wasn't a person, It was a zombie! she ran screaming into the minimart and climbed up one of the shelves.
