Please read Seven #1 before reading this story as this is the second part. We're here. Grrreeeaaat. I file off of the bus. As I'm getting off the bus I wish the bus driver a good day. I walk into the building. I reach for my schedule, but not in time for Cece to come up and rip it out of the pocket in my backpack. I watch in horror as she rips it into fours. She casually lets it drift to the floor. As she's walking away, I hear her whisper "Freak" a little too loud. I pick up the schedule. I piece it together. Finding the locker comb through the rips, I made my way my way towards my locker. Thankfully the actual bell didn't ring for another 15 minutes, because my locker was in the very back of the school. I put in the comb, and thankfully it worked on the first try. I slung my backpack on the hook and unzipped it. I grabbed all of my books for my first class. Science. When I shut my locker I jumped. My locker neighbor appeared. She was short. Shorter than me. Hard to believe, I know. But anyways, she was fumbling with her combination, so I decided to help her. I could tell she was new to the school. "Hi. I'm Sammie. Do you need some help with that?" I introduced myself. "Uh, yeah, I could, actually. My n-name's Tonia." She replied. I took her schedule and found the locker comb. I put it in, and again, it worked first try. "There you go, Tonia." I handed her the schedule. "Hey, your first hour is Science, just like mine!" I said. "Oh cool!" Said Tonia. "Here, lets walk together. I know where the classroom is." I said, as we took off down the hallway."So, what school did you go to before Sanders?" I asked, quite curious. "Well, me and my dad used to live in Ft. Meyers, Florida." She said, nervous. "Really? Ft. Meyers!? Lucky." I said, intrigued. "Yeah, not really. My dad practically locked me in our house." "Oh, well, sorry about that." I said sympathetically. I noticed a bruise on the side of her arm. It was just barely exposed underneath her short- sleeved shirt. It was dark purple. Eh, its nothing, I thought. "Um, here we are." We walked into Mr. Moore's classroom. We both took seats in the back. "Good morning, class. Welcome to science. Um, dear, in the back." I felt 29 pairs of eyes fall on me. "Please give me that camera. No electronics in class!" The teacher said in a nasaly voice. |
