A unique poem about my relationship with God and my odd sense of evrything around me. |
-So Unkind- by Keaton Foster Time Some more Oh please It’s too late That can’t be Somehow I am here When I Want to be Anywhere God above You are So unkind Always a lesson Nothing is easy Should it be? Unsure But quite certain That it shouldn’t be So damn difficult Do you hate me? A question asked That shouldn’t be Faith Such an impossible mountain Instead of climbing I am falling Further down Even further still Will I ever impact Will I ever stop Is death the answer But that is not Any question asked Fate is cruel And so are you So unkind No one is daring me To say such a thing Freewill is mine A nonreturnable gift My one truest God The master of everything That concerns me most Why can you let me breathe If just for a brief moment Please Somehow let me see Let me become strong When I otherwise Won’t be Give me strength So that I can climb So that I can overcome These words Meant for the masses Masking what I’m saying To no one else but you So unkind No reason why I did nothing wrong Being born is my only sin At least the only one Of any real significance I have asked for forgiveness Once before Many times more Lend me a smile Ease my fall Stop the momentum Give me the ability For once to climb above All that has become The brunt of your Undeserving punishment… So Unkind Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2013 |
