Call it a spiritual poem, a religious poem or a love poem.
I was standing with God,
upon a large rock at the top of an immense mountain cliff,
looking onto space and ubiquity.

He cast from him an infinite amount of stars.
Still ...

We were before a vast land,
high above,
and we watched the stars settle upon and amidst the valley.

They found themselves at divergent accommodations.
Still ...

I am not amidst God,
but an imprint of poetic understanding within immense purpose,
and the stars are souls ceded to a wild.

Each has a piece of his light, as does all the universe,
Still ...

These grains are extraordinary,
for they were imbued of his soul, not merely his being;
unique and measureless, jewels of creation.

They are drawn incrementally to one an other,
interlacing in union,
and each synthesis holds between them more of provenance.

Independent until all have manifest anew, a soul made of many.
Still ...

She stands in the valley looking up,
showing the radiance of spirit and grace.
She smiles at him.

They found themselves in each other.
Still ...
